Québec Longitudinal Study of Child Development

Overview

The main objective of QLSCD is to identify the precursors of children’s social adaptation and school adjustment when they enter the educational system. This study has information on young children’s health, behavior and many other aspects of their life.

Babies (singleton births only)
59 or 60 weeks of gestational age
Registered in the Québec “Fichier maître des naissances”

Why:
Representative sample of all children born to mothers living in Québec in 1997-1998
