BCS70 Age 42 survey (2012-13)


The BCS70 Age 42 survey took place between 1st May 2012 to the 30th April 2013.

Response:

9,841 cohort members took part in total.

Design:

A 60 minute face-to-face interview comprising a CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interview) and a 16 page CASI paper self-completion questionnaire.  In addition to the core interview the Age 42 interview also involved:

  • An assessment of adult vocabulary
  • Collection of consents to data linkage
