Professor Neville Butler, founder of both the 1958 and 1970 cohort studies and an ardent supporter of the Millennium Cohort Study, died on February 22nd at the age of 86. 

A DVD, 'Generations',  has been produced to encapsulate his life and work, with visual reminders of what the times were like in 1958 and 1970, a look at what the surveys have achieved, and interviews with Neville and with people who knew and worked with him.

The DVD can be ordered on-line, and is also currently being streamed for free viewing on the web.
