An introduction to multilevel modelling for the analysis of longitudinal and clustered data with applications to the Millennium Cohort Study

28th March 2014 9:00 to 17:00

This workshop is designed for those who are interested in learning how to analyse longitudinal and clustered data using multilevel models with the MLwiN software. The workshop assumes good prior knowledge of regression modelling and an interest in the analysis of data from the Millennium Cohort Study (MCS).

The programme will cover:

  • Multilevel and longitudinal data structures
  • Random intercepts and random slopes models
  • Hypothesis testing and model selection
  • Models for repeated measures
  • Quantile multilevel models
  • Applications with MLwiN.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to use MLwiN to analyse data from the MCS.
